The Personal Mastery in Coaching and Mentoring programme centers on your development as a coach and mentor through the study and practice of NLP, Time Line Therapy™, hypnosis, personal development, reflective practice, transcultural development, performance development and transitions management.

Module 1 - NLP Practitioner, Time Line Therapy™ & Hypnosis qualification. This is the basis upon which we build the subsequent modules. Techniques learned and your personal development experience during this module will be used extensively in the coaching and mentoring arena.

If you are already qualified in NLP to practitioner or master practitioner level you are exempt from module 1 and can start the programme at module 2.
Module 2 - Performance management in Coaching and MentoringDuring this module you will learn to understand and apply a model of coaching/mentoring relating to managing performance and will gain clarity about how this differs from transformational coaching and mentoring. You will have ample opportunity to practise many of the techniques learnt so far during the programme with expert and peer feedforward.
Module 3 - Transcultural Excellence The third module enables you to identify your cultural orientation, look through other lenses in your coaching and mentoring practices and to value and honour diversity.
Module 4 - Personal Development in Coaching and MentoringThis module looks at enabling you to assist the personal development of another through conceptual skills and use of appropriate coaching or mentoring tools. You will appreciate more in-depth issues that could arise around coaching and mentoring and will be versed in a variety of philosophical approaches to coaching and mentoring so you can make informed choices about your own practice in coaching or mentoring.you  will also receive intensive feedback on your coaching from their peers and experts.
Module 5 - Transitions in Coaching and Mentoring The last module will enable you to understand stages in human development, the transition process and career development as well as gaining further practice supporting another’s transition.

As a GNCM Coach/Mentor you will be able to:

  • support someone to be more productive in a shorter time frame (from concept of the first 90 days)
  • help develop talent (on a 1:1 basis)
  • give career guidance
  • conduct an exit interview
  • manage poor performance
  • manage high performance
  • manage upwards
  • guide managers on people issues (from an advisory perspective)
  • mentor talent
  • mentor upwards
  • communicate how to secure ROI in coaching and mentoring to your clients
  • measure results

The Personal Mastery in Coaching and Mentoring programme covers the psychology of human development, how adults learn, personal development, systems thinking, intercultural sensitivity, diversity and inclusion, and also focusses on how to set up and market your own coaching business.

  • Have sufficient proficiency in the English language
  • Have some experience of personal development work and have enhanced self awareness
