Linbert Spencer (guest speaker)

Linbert is an international consultant, trainer and coach and has facilitated seminars and workshops in America, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bermuda, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, India, Macedonia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe as well as in the UK. He is an innovative, inspirational facilitator and coach with proven experience of effective board level interventions and leadership team development.

As well as being a member of the faculty that delivered our successful graduate programme in 2010, Linbert Spencer was well received as a keynote speaker at the 2010 EMCC UK annual conference and ran successful workshops at both the 2010 EMCC Conference and 2011 EMCC UK annual conferences. Linbert has designed and delivered a number of development and leadership coaching/mentoring programmes in the last 8 years which have all been successful for the organisations concerned and in many cases, life changing for the individual participants.

Born in Jamaica in 1948, his professional background is in community development, having trained at Goldsmiths College London University in 1970. Linbert is a former professional actor; international athlete - competed for Great Britain in the decathlon; television presenter - co-presented the first two series of the Open College’s one-hour live magazine programmes on network television. He has appeared on many other television and radio programmes, including two appearances on BBC Television's Question Time, has written two books, contributed to a number of other publications, and is a prolific public speaker.
